I enjoyed the pictures in the gallery. I believe that we may be related as my maiden name was Maedgen. It's always nice to see what your relatives are doing. You are doing well. God bless you.

I just love your work! There isn't a lot of art I see that I really want to own, but I wish I could afford something of yours. The way you treat light is very special (and something you have in common with those artists considered "great"). Maybe one day I'll win Lotto.......I'm glad you chose art over engineering- we have enough engineers but not enough good artists!

Oh, I do have comments! I do so much appreciate looking at your work. My father was both a fine artist and a commercial artist, so you could say that I was enculturated at a very early age. I looked at "Portraits," and "Artist Statement." Are there more to see? Renée Ascher

I met your sister, Karen, while working in Austin this year. I work at law firm that represents catastrophic burn victims in civil suits across the nation. Your story is inspirational!

Kevin, Your work has taken me down a special lane in my memory. I can get lost in the paintings I have seen here. I remember playing in the pastures at your Dad's, tearing accross the fields on horseback and in the feed store when we were kids. Thank you for bringing it to life. Please let me know when you update the site with new items. Thanks cuz, Libbie

Some of your work appears to have a Magritte influence which appeals to me.

Kevin: I saw your site on the Troy Ex's page. I had no idea that you were such a wonderful artist! I am very impressed!! I am married with two little boys. My oldest goes to school in Troy. I have a real job, but recently opened a photography shop -- mostly outdoors work. If I ever have anyone interested in an oil portrait, will tell them about you!! Just wanted to say hello and tell you how impressed I am with your work. Take care -- Toni (class of '85)

Hello Kevin, I hope you remember me. I have just looked in your gallery and was sooo impressed!!! I had know idea that this was on such a scale. You are really a wonderful artist. I must say the one of your Daddy is very impressive. I love that one. I still live in Troy and have been married to Bob Preece for 20 years now. We have 3 Great Kids, Pansy-15, Pecos-8, Pistol-5, they keep us very busy!! I am doing ISS at Troy Middle School, I don't guess I'll ever be brave enough to leave this place, I admire you for it. I would love to have a portrait of my kids done and make it real personal. I just don't know where to go around here to do,that and have that person understand what I'm talking about. I hope all is well with you there in the big city. Take care!!

I am most impressed with your work--especially, "Departure From Olana." I have always had a love of the Church estate and you captured it beautifully. Your talent is readily evident and I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future.
