Commissioned Portraits

I am available for portrait commissions, which can be of anyone you choose, providing you have their permission. I work from sittings in Los Angeles, or I can create a portrait from your photographs or do the photography myself in Los Angeles. The mediums I prefer to use include oil and watercolor. The Artist's Mother Click on the image for a larger view. Portrait of my mother commissioned by my sister, the little girl in the pink bonnet. It was painted from old black-and-white family photos. While I can work from old photos like this, it is preferable to do a custom photo shoot for the best possible portrait.
